I was introduced to photography from my dad when I was a very little girl. From there I took photography class in school. Learning about film and developing in a dark room.
I was always just drawn to the uniqueness photography offered. The different perspectives I could create.
Yes, I was one of those girls with a snapshot camera in my purse at the clubs in the mid 2000's.
I've had the pleasure of living and experiencing some stunning places. I was born in Alberta Canada, just a short 45 min drive to the Rocky Mountains. Growing up I never realized I had such beauty right in my backyard. Living in Key West for 15 years is where I really dove head first into photography and blossomed. Owning and operating a tourism photography business for 12 years. Embracing the ocean and all it offers I started using a drone to capture photo and video for my clients in the tourism and charter boat industry.
For years I stayed away from the wedding industry out of fear and pressure.
I was approached by some friends to shoot their engagement. They loved what I gave them and begged me to photograph their wedding. To be bluntly honest I tried to decline out of fear but they insisted and persisted. They won, and I did a 3 day event wedding for them.
Needless to say I stunned them and myself with the outcome of the images. And so, my journey continues.
Now living in Lakeside Montana. With my soon to be husband, Drayden, and our two pups Tonto & Tia.
Photography isn’t a job to me, it's my talent, my passion and every photoshoot I get to do I am excited about it from beginning to end.
When I'm not doing photography I spend my time on long walks by the lake, rivers, or parks with my pups. I love to torture myself with hot yoga and gym workouts.
As photo seasons do, when it slows down I somehow managed to get myself into the fracking world as a pump operator working and traveling with my husband and our pups where ever the road takes us.
